Security Audit Professional

About the Opportunity: 

Cloud Security Services is currently looking for an experienced Microsoft365 security consultant for our client. Our client requires an experienced consultant with experience in Micsrosoft365 security with excellent project management and communications skills to support the continuous enhancements of their security posture on the Microsoft365 paltform. This is a 6-month remote project that may require some onsite travel. 

Responsibilities: 

The Cyber Security Auditor Lead works independently and within teams to process all work related to developing, planning, and executing cyber security audits. The Security Auditor Lead will use these audits to determine the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the internal security measures of IT Department and all of technology systems. The Security Auditor monitors the compliance and regulatory landscape, prepares compliance evidence and reviews, creates process documentation, and otherwise contributes to the development and maintenance of a sound information security program. The Auditor must drive progress, using influence to ensure that security controls are enforced. The Auditor acts as the subject matter expert for all compliance issues and facilitates preparation of annual Report on Compliance. 

Required Skills: 

The role requires in-depth knowledge and experience with audit tools like ScoutSuite/Prowler , specifically in configuring and ensuring initial and ongoing compliance with multiple suites of security benchmarks as per Industry standards for multiple cloud platforms. 

• Ability to collate the audit data and articulate it in a cohesive, consumable fashion. 
• Work with internal teams after the audit to ensure that open audit items are closed. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevSecOps tools 

Preferred Skills: 

•  Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, vendor certifications, etc. 
•  2 - 3 years overall experience in IT infrastructure and networking administration 
•  2 - 3 years overall experience in network and platform security 

Required Education: 

•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
